Location

We are close to the small hamlet of Lanlivery and a few minutes’ drive from Lostwithiel , an old Stannary town on the river Fowey and once the capital of Cornwall, which has a number of excellent pubs and restaurants and is known as Cornwall’s antiques capital!

The fabulous coastal town of Fowey is just five miles away and the amazing Eden Project is just six miles away, where there is always something extra going on to suit all ages.

Other nearby attractions include the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House; a beautiful, grand and interesting old Victorian family home with about 50 public rooms, including 5 kitchens, servants quarters, chapel and grounds.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan and a wealth of other fabulous gardens are all accessible and worth a visit.

Beaches are never too far away so…

This is a superb base from which to discover all that Cornwall has to offer!

Virtually everywhere in the county is reachable by car within an hour or by train from Lostwithiel station.
